Priority 3 - NO ACTION
Establish which parts of the New River are contaminated and require reqular removal of rubbish, in order to maintain and restore the natural wildlife environment.

Priority 4 - JAPANESE KNOTWEED TREATED, BUT NOT REMOVED
Japanese Knotweed is growing on a section of the path by the football pitch.

Priority 5 - NO ACTION
Risk to volunteers of removing larger items from the New River.

Priority 7 - NO ACTION
Developing an agreement between Thames Water, London Borough of Hackney and the London Wildlife Trust to determine which body should be accountable For action when the path or river are contaminated or unsafe to walk on - protecting wildlife and people.

PUBLIC MEETING - Saturday, 14 January 2023 at 12.30pm. The meeting took place, but no action post-meeting.

Priorities:
1. Restoration of New River Path and reduce the risk of falls and enable access for all.
2. Relaying other sections of the path which are hazardous to walking - especially following rain.
3. Establish which parts of the New River are contaminated and require regular removal of rubbish, in order to maintain and restore the natural
wildlife environment.
4. Removal of Japanese Knotweed growing on a section of the path by the Football Pitch.
5. Risk to volunteers of removing larger items from the New River.
6. Disposal of Waste along the New River path.
7. Developing an Agreement between TW, LBH and the London Wildlife Trust to determine which body should be accountable for action when the
path or river is contaminated or unsafe to walk on - protecting wildlife and people.
